Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a key member of our OR team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and efficient surgical environment.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, and ANA Standards of Practice.
- Assume individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients.
- Identify and mitigate risks, hazards, and unsafe practices in the OR environment.
- Must have experience working as a Circulating RN and possess strong trauma, ortho, neuro, and Davinci skills or be able to attend one of StaRN + cohorts.
- Must have strong critical thinking and multitasking skills.
- Must have a minimum of 1-year Operating Room experience.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- Current Missouri RN license or Multistate RN License from a participating compact state required.
- BCLS required.
- CNOR preferred.

We are an accredited Cancer Program and Breast Center. We provide Women's Services, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a Stroke Center.
We are part of HCA Midwest Health, a network of hospitals in Kansas City and surrounding areas.
