About the Position

Development Facilitators Inc. (DFI) is a leading provider of construction management, inspection, civil engineering, and design services. We are currently seeking a skilled Pavement Inspector to join our team in Prince George's and Montgomery Counties.

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inspect paving, concrete, striping, and landscaping restoration work to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
  2. Prepare and process restoration work orders, including calculating cost estimates and quantities of materials installed
  3. Coordinate with contractors and local authorities to schedule work and respond to emergencies as needed
  4. Provide training to new staff members and assist with other tasks as required
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; three years of experience with paving operations or inspections preferred
  • Paving inspectors must have inspected at least six pavement restoration or new road construction projects in the past two years
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in inclement weather
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
