Pediatric Psychologist - Eating Disorders

We are seeking a full-time clinical psychologist to join our team in the Eating Disorder Clinic at Akron Children's Hospital. As a member of our interprofessional team, you will work closely with physicians, dietitians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based diagnostic and treatment services to children and young adults aged 8-25 with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individual, family, and group treatment services to patients with eating disorders
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in psychology
  • Teach pediatric residents and child psychiatry fellows
  • Participate in research and program development opportunities

We are a major teaching affiliate of Northeast Ohio Medical University and offer a range of pediatric subspecialty fellowship programs. Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology, including completion of an internship in an APA-accredited program
  • Postdoctoral fellowship experience and hospital-based work experience preferred
  • Experience in evaluating and treating adolescent eating disorders, with a focus on individual, family, and group treatment
  • License-eligible in the State of Ohio
  • Board certification through ABPP within 5 years of start date
