Role Summary

The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food services. Responsibilities include monitoring food temperatures, maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area, preparing and serving meals, restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and processing payments through a computerized register. Adherence to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines is essential. Exceptional customer service and effective communication with patrons and colleagues are crucial for success in this role.

Maintaining quality control standards is a priority. The role may involve operating various kitchen equipment, including grills, beverage machines, toasters, and dishwashers. Experience in the food service industry is preferred.

Ability to work independently when required, along with a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, is necessary. Candidates should be prepared to be on their feet for extended periods and cover considerable distances.

Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, and food service is advantageous. Candidates should be able to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions, as well as perform basic math. On-the-job training will be provided.

Depending on the hiring location, obtaining Serv Safe certification within a specified timeframe may be required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may also be necessary based on location requirements.
