Responsibilities

Role Summary: In this dynamic and rewarding position, you will take on a leadership role, fostering professional relationships with case managers, physicians, and clinicians in acute care settings. You will educate stakeholders about the rehabilitation services available and assess patients for admission to our facility.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a list of key contacts and decision-makers in assigned hospitals, providing exceptional service and education on our services.
  • Ensure high levels of referrer satisfaction and account retention.
  • Inform potential patients and their families about the advantages of acute rehabilitation and our programs.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing efforts through educational initiatives, tours, and meetings in designated hospitals.
  • Formulate strategies to enhance market share in core service areas, setting quarterly goals and objectives for review.
  • Collaborate with the VP/Director of Business Development to identify growth opportunities for strategic initiatives.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist is required. Multi-state licensure may be necessary based on geographical territory.

Preferred Experience:

  • Two years of relevant experience in a clinical healthcare environment or prior experience in a clinical liaison role is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the preadmission process, including assessments and relationship building in a rehabilitation or post-acute care setting is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, with at least one year in a related position is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills are essential.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in managing the professional and confidential aspects of healthcare sales.
