Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison for revenue processes between various departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular evaluations of charge capture processes within departments to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and address trends related to revenue and charge discrepancies.
- Explore avenues for enhancing revenue capture in alignment with payer regulations.
- Develop and refine specifications for charge capture systems to minimize claim edits and rejections.
- Assist in the research and implementation of charge capture methodologies for new services and technologies.
- Collaborate with coding and clinical teams to rectify errors in accordance with established coding guidelines.
- Respond promptly to inquiries regarding departmental charging practices.
- Facilitate discussions on charge capture insights through regular meetings.
- Contribute to the creation of training materials and policies for the Revenue Integrity team and associated departments.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Accounting, Nursing, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Ability to present effectively and engage with all levels of management.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across the organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience:
- A minimum of three years of experience in charge documentation, auditing, or capture processes.
- In-depth knowledge of ICD/CPT coding is essential; certification such as CPC or CCS-P is required.
- Proficient in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Epic HB/PB systems is preferred.
- Relevant Epic certification and/or proficiency is advantageous.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is USD $80,000 to $86,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate and actual compensation will depend on various factors, including qualifications and experience.
