Telecommunications Installation Specialist

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience. Our salary range takes into account the average cost of living in Northville, NY and ensures that our employees can maintain a good standard of living while serving our customers.

Job Description: As a Fiber I&R Tech, you will be responsible for installing or repairing Telecommunication services at customer premises. This includes installing, replacing, rearranging fiber jumpers and outside/inside wiring, making various attachments to poles and buildings, mounting ONTs, power supplies, and battery backups, and configuring computers.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must have experience in telephone service, CATV installations, coax cable sizes and types, test sets, routers, home networking, loss, attenuation, and tiling. Additionally, you should be comfortable working at heights, crawling under dwellings and in attics, and fishing through walls. Proficiency in computer skills is also essential.
