Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Track and Signal Engineer to join our team in Springfield, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in railroad construction, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule input; submittals; preparing field work packages; compiling as-built data; verifying installation quantities; field safety and quality inspections.
- Perform procurement quantity takeoffs.
- Daily reports in construction management software.
- Compile necessary information for all submittals and coordinate with Document Control to ensure proper documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in railroad construction or related field.
- Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience in a construction related position preferred.
- Ability to work with a team and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
