We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System.

Role Overview

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work independently, make sound clinical decisions, and provide exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide independent care to patients within a clinical specialty
  • Serve as a clinical resource for others, utilizing evidence-based practice
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate care addressing patient/family needs
  • Participate in Performance Improvement, Evidence-Based Practice, or research at the unit level
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or a Nurse Compact License (NSL). A BSN is preferred, and two years of recent critical care nursing experience are required. You must also possess solid knowledge and clinical skills, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Salary and Benefits
