Physical Therapy Assistant

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Placentia, California.
Job SummaryAs a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising the implementation and delivery of patient care, ensuring that services meet or exceed quality and utilization standards, and working collaboratively with healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the delivery of patient care and services within one unit, ensuring that they meet or exceed quality and utilization standards.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve staff development and the delivery of patient care.
- Monitor the quality of service and utilization standards, and assume specific responsibility for patient care at the unit level.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes and ensure coordinated plans of treatment.
- Research and implement best practice models to improve patient care and services.
- Investigate and resolve patient/family/member concerns regarding patient care.
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience relevant to a given position/department required, including one (1) year of leadership experience.
- BSN or bachelors degree in a relevant field required or completion of a relevant bachelors degree within two (2) years of hire.
- Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement and clinical care delivery processes, staffing, and budgeting.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
