Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at Golden Bear Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
- Assist patients with physical therapy treatment by providing support and guidance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to infection control procedures and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Provide administrative support to physical therapists by recording daily notes and maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in physical therapy techniques and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
