Behavioral Specialist for Student Support Services

Job Summary
LEARN RESC invites candidates to apply for an anticipated Registered Behavior Technician opening at our Transition Academy. As a Behavioral Specialist for Student Support Services, you will provide appropriate school-based services to students enrolled in programs and schools LEARN operates or provides contractual services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare instructional settings and materials for student programs.
- Supervise and assist students in all settings specified on their educational plans.
- Implement all strategies utilized in the overall curriculum plan, as based on the IEP, related to inclusion as appropriate, individual work in a school setting, including collecting and monitoring data, interpreting the data in conjunction with LEARN staff, and modifying the program as needed for each child.
- Maintain accurate records, including data collection and session notes.
- Collaborate on all aspects of the student's program with inclusion setting and LEARN staff when appropriate.
Requirements
- Current BACB Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Ability to maintain ongoing RBT certification in compliance with BACB Certification Maintenance Requirements.
- Preferred experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges, as well as their families.
