Payroll Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Tax Specialist to join our team at Whirks. As a Payroll Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll tax returns in a multistate, multicompany environment. You will be the primary liaison for resolving all payroll tax notices with the appropriate agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure client and firm compliance with payroll tax responsibilities
- Regularly initiate payroll tax payments and filings by the correct due dates while researching and responding to all payroll tax notices
- Maintain accurate and balanced trust accounts
- Assist with non-tax projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or similar field of study
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines
- Detail-oriented and tech-savvy
What We Offer
- Competitive salary range of $57,000-$62,000 per year
