Role Summary
We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Specialist to join our Corporate Team. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the management of financial records across various corporate departments, including month-end closing entries, account reconciliations, daily cash reconciliations, and invoice processing.
- Supporting the preparation and maintenance of various allocations for operational entities.
- Providing assistance with consolidation reporting (Cognos / Planning Analytics) and Fixed Asset Software (FAS).
- Preparing schedules for both internal and external reporting requirements.
- Contributing to projects that support our Corporate Finance Team, including testing compliance with corporate-level controls and inventory management.
- Managing banking administration tasks, including documentation for new accounts and changes in signatory authority.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in financial accounting is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
- Proficient in Excel; familiarity with ERP reporting systems is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with personnel at all levels, including senior management.
- Highly responsive to client needs, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Adaptable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
