About the Role

As a Product Manager II, you will be responsible for crafting, implementing, and executing processes to streamline operations and reduce friction. You will work closely with a team of experts to drive excellence in an air-gapped cloud environment, making operations easier, safer, and cheaper. Your expertise will be crucial in positioning Microsoft to deliver industry-leading cloud-based services to our largest government customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in M365 operations, including in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Establish and evolve operational processes in support of cloud-based services across Microsoft 365 government customers.
  • Create products and lead projects towards the overarching goal of smoothly operating new cloud environments.
  • Collaborate across Microsoft with engineers, developers, and team members to debug, improve, and optimize M365's services and infrastructure.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for cloud operations and drive for continuous improvement in operations processes and procedures.
  • Establish and report key performance metrics to measure the efficacy of the operational improvement techniques and determine the effectiveness of the underlying processes.
Qualifications

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in product management, software development, SRE, or cloud operations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
  • OR equivalent experience.
