Jupiter Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide rehabilitation services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct care to evaluate their medical condition, functional capabilities, and potential for rehabilitation.
- Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the physician's direction.
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record their condition, and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.
Requirements:
- Valid professional license and registration for the state of Florida.
- Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
- Well-versed in documentation writing and exceptional patient service skills.
- Ability to demonstrate clinical excellence and perform all other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.
- Compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA, and Federal Residents' Rights.
Shift Needs: Part-Time and PRN
Facility Location: Jupiter, FL
