About the Role:
The Intake Coordinator is a key member of our team at Summit BHC, responsible for creating a positive first impression for our clients and their families. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries and provide information about our services and availability
- Perform pre-registration and verify insurance eligibility
- Coordinate with insurance companies and facilitate assessment and/or intake to our services when appropriate
- Provide administrative support to the department of admissions and ensure the quality of service to clients and their families
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field of study
- Experience in client assessment, referral, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities
- Knowledge of community resources and skill in telephone etiquette and paging procedures
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required
