Respiratory Care Specialist

Job Summary:
At Christus Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will be responsible for providing pulmonary care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under the direction of a physician.
Patient Care Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a candidate who can assess patient needs and develop effective respiratory care plans.
- You will perform various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures in all areas of the hospital.
- Our ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills to work effectively with healthcare teams and provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- This role requires a RT or RCP License in the state of employment, BLS certification, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC certification, current ACLS certification, current PALS certification, and current NRP certification.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in respiratory care is preferred.
Work Environment:
