Position Overview

The Clinical Audiologist at Jackson Ear Clinic will be responsible for providing comprehensive audiological services, including audiometry, electrophysiology, vestibular services, cochlear implant services, and hearing device services. The primary patient population will be adults, and the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in any area of audiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive audiological services, including:
    • Audiometry, including tympanometry and acoustic reflex threshold measures
    • Electrophysiology: Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) to assess auditory pathway functionality
    • Vestibular services: Videonystagmography (VNG) and Electronystagmography (ENG)
    • Cochlear implant services: Evaluate patients for cochlear implant candidacy, program, and fit cochlear implants, and provide ongoing management and support
    • Fitting, programming, and dispensing hearing aids for all ages
    • Aural rehabilitation therapy
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent
  • Valid Mississippi audiology license or ability to obtain a license
