Patient Care Associate

As a Patient Care Associate at Mercy, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families. Under the direction of the RN or LPN, you will assist in the individualized care of the patient to achieve their highest level of wellness. Your compassion, professionalism, and strong sense of advocacy will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the individualized care of patients to achieve their highest level of wellness
• Work cooperatively with others as part of a team to recognize the importance of group goals
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to providing care to patients
Requirements:
• High school diploma, G.E.D, CNA/CPTC, or enrolled in a healthcare career program through their high school curriculum
• No previous experience required, with Mercy providing a required 175-hour training program for new hires
• BLS certification required within one month of hire, completion of PCA competencies within 3 months of hire
