Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning, set-up, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all details are executed to perfection.
  • Staff Supervision: Directly supervise, coach, and train banquet service staff to ensure exceptional service standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and furniture to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Communication: Collaborate with catering, sales, food and beverage managers, and the culinary team to ensure quality service is provided for all meeting and banquet guests.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise during events, ensuring guest satisfaction and minimizing disruptions.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-3 years of high-volume banquet service experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Education: High school or equivalent education required.
  • Certifications: Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification required.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
