ROLE SUMMARY:
The Associate Sourcing Manager (ASM) is primarily responsible for optimizing the end-to-end supply chain costs while ensuring superior supply performance that aligns with corporate goals such as cost efficiency, inventory management, and supply flexibility. The ASM will spearhead the development, planning, and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and unlock value creation opportunities. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including New Product Development (NPD) and marketing, to support the introduction of new products.
The ASM will also act as a key liaison with our contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), fostering strategic partnerships with designated suppliers. Close cooperation with demand and supply planning teams is essential to ensure that suppliers meet their on-time and in-full (OTIF) commitments. The ASM will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and reporting supplier performance metrics, as well as monitoring departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, the ASM will provide analytical support to senior management as required.
In essence, the ASM is instrumental in ensuring that the supply chain operates efficiently, enabling Emerge Talent Cloud to deliver exceptional service at minimal costs and without unnecessary delays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and implement supply chain improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Manage and support the network of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Analyze spending and CMO OTIF performance data, providing reporting support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of new product initiatives.
- Proactively manage risks by executing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Participate in the annual business planning process, coordinating with finance and other departments to establish a solid Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) plan.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Lead data analytics related to spending and supplier performance.
- Manage projects aimed at optimizing supply chain costs, including lead time reductions and capacity assessments.
- Organize supplier benchmarking events, including managing RFx processes.
- Develop cost models and prepare market intelligence reports.
- Support cross-functional teams in new product launches and transitions.
- Assist in managing supplier relationships for assigned categories.
- Coordinate with various supply chain functions to support ongoing and new business initiatives.
- Generate reports, including monthly spending and supplier KPI scorecards.
- Maintain a database of supply agreements and assist in contract negotiations.
- Support COGS and APO optimization processes.
- Understand relevant regulations and quality standards applicable to our product portfolio.
- Act as a brand champion for assigned brands with guidance from senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and managerial skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 5% travel may be required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents and regulations. Capable of writing reports and presenting information effectively.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform calculations involving percentages, proportions, and basic algebra.

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time position with a standard workweek.
