Telecommunication Specialist

This position offers a flexible on-call opportunity.

The PBX Operator plays a crucial role in handling a diverse range of incoming, outgoing, and internal calls, which include communications from family members, hospital personnel, and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directs incoming calls to the appropriate room, department, or facility within the healthcare setting.
• Efficiently manages a high volume of calls.
• Provides assistance to patients, visitors, and vendors with directions both inside and outside the facility.
• Performs various clerical tasks as needed.
• Pages emergency codes as required.
• Demonstrates multitasking abilities while managing calls, maintaining a professional demeanor throughout.
• Communicates clearly and courteously, exhibiting a friendly attitude and patience.
• Handles multi-line calls promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

Experience: Prior experience in customer service and managing multi-line phone systems is essential.
