The Telecommunications Specialist is tasked with overseeing a diverse range of incoming, outgoing, and internal communications, which include interactions with family members, healthcare staff, and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directs incoming calls to the appropriate room, department, or facility within the healthcare system.
• Efficiently handles a high volume of calls.
• Provides assistance to patients, visitors, and vendors with navigation both inside and outside the facility.
• Performs various clerical tasks as needed.
• Pages emergency codes as required.
• Exhibits multitasking abilities while managing calls, maintaining a professional demeanor throughout.
• Communicates clearly and courteously, demonstrating a positive attitude and the patience to listen attentively.
• Responds to multi-line calls promptly.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

Experience: Prior experience in customer service and managing multi-line phone systems is essential.
