Job Title: Manufacturing Superintendent

Jobot Consulting is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Superintendent to lead our industrial safety manufacturing company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring production lines run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the manufacturing process and ensure production lines run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
  • Ensure safety protocols and OSHA standards are strictly adhered to in the production process.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
  • Implement Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensure they are followed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans to ensure all machinery and equipment are installed and maintained correctly.
  • Oversee machine installations and carry out regular machine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing and production issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, with a strong focus on safety, engineering, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and protocols.
  • Proven experience in managing subcontractors and overseeing large-scale manufacturing projects.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering plans.
  • Experience in implementing and overseeing LOTO procedures.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
