Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled General Laborer to support our worksite operations. In this role, you will perform manual labor tasks, including maintaining a clean work environment, providing assistance to onsite tradespeople, and operating power tools and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by collecting trash, excess building materials, and other potentially hazardous products.
  • Provide support to onsite tradespeople, including welders, installers, and carpenters.
  • Transport heavy materials and equipment from one location to another.
  • Operate power tools and industrial equipment, such as saws, drills, and forklifts.
  • Set up cones and warning signs to increase visibility and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Construct, block, and level temporary structures, and tear them down when necessary.
  • Perform other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair.
Requirements
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work long hours, including 8-12 hour shifts.
  • Ability to travel weeks at a time.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to operate power tools and equipment safely.
  • Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
