Pediatric Hospital Medicine Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospital Medicine Provider to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). As a key member of our pediatric care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our young patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide primary management of Pediatric Hospital Medicine patients, working closely with our pediatric faculty to ensure seamless care.
- Obtain detailed medical histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations on pediatric patients.
- Reinforce information presented by attending physicians to patients and families, and order necessary diagnostic tests, consultations, and procedures as requested.
- Prescribe medications as necessary and assist with patient education and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with pediatric attending physicians and referring physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- 5+ years of surgical and pediatric experience desirable, but not required.
- Maintain certification by completing required Continuing Medical Education credits and recertification guidelines as indicated by specialty.
- Qualified in basic and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as established by the American Heart Association.
