Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a key member of our Pediatric Hospital Medicine department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations
  • Participate in bedside diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Coordinate tests and consultations, implement treatment plans, and communicate with pediatric attending physicians and house staff
  • Prescribe medications as necessary and prepare patients for discharge
  • Assist in teaching and education with patients and families for routine and complex issues
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • 5+ years of surgical and pediatric experience desirable, but not required
  • Maintain certification by completing required Continuing Medical Education credits and completing recertification guidelines as indicated by specialty
  • Qualified in basic and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as established by the American Heart Association
