Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for defending clients in construction defect and personal injury cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defend clients in construction defect and personal injury cases
  • Take expert depositions, write motions, and argue motions
  • Draft complex case evaluations and demonstrate exceptional writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment and successfully multi-task and manage deadlines
  • Work independently and in a team environment, taking initiative and being action-oriented
  • Have a high comfort level in working with clients and colleagues, and demonstrate academic excellence and leadership
  • Be admitted to practice in Texas and have a law degree from an accredited law school
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction defect and/or personal injury defense and/or any corporate defense
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills, with first or second chair trial experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to attentively listen, actively engage, and effectively communicate complex matters
