Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the F-16 Sustainment Team, you will take on the role of Quality Assurance Inspector. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity and compliance of mechanical operations and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will engage in the following activities:
- Employ established methodologies to assess both in-process and finished products, including electronic, mechanical, structural, and powerplant components.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to confirm adherence to specifications and assembly protocols.
- Utilize precision instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, scales, fixtures, and borescopes to assess the serviceability of aircraft and components.
- Collaborate with clients to present validated work for their endorsement and final approval.
- Scrutinize documentation for precision and thoroughness.
- Compile discrepancy reports for identified defects, internal issues, and erroneous work.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as an aircraft mechanic, with proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and aircraft schematics.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with F-16, C-130, P-3, or C-5 aircraft. Knowledge and capability to perform various skill requirements with minimal supervision. Familiarity with APG, airframe, electrical, and flight line operations. Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, and SAP.
Security Clearance:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens for consideration.
