EHS Engineer

Randstad Staffing is seeking a qualified Environmental Health & Safety Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the site's ergonomics, conducting job hazard analyses, and overseeing the industrial hygiene program to mitigate hazardous exposures.

• Lead the ergonomics team to implement improvements in high-risk areas.
• Conduct ergonomic evaluations utilizing specialized software.
• Provide expert EHS guidance to foster a strong Safety Culture.
• Identify and evaluate risks throughout the facility, developing effective control measures.
• Consult with operations management, supervisors, HR partners, and employees on safety matters.
• Oversee incident management, including injury oversight, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Design and implement training programs to ensure all employees are well-versed in EHS practices.
• Manage the job hazard analysis program, collaborating with teams to assess risks and ensure compliance.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Preferred certification as a Certified Ergonomist.
• Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, or CIH are advantageous.

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 per year, with first shift work hours from 7 AM to 3 PM.
