Job Summary:
The Clinical Pharmacist plays a vital role in overseeing patient medication therapy. This includes interpreting and evaluating physician orders, processing medication requests, and offering comprehensive information regarding drug therapy. The goal is to guarantee the accurate and timely administration of medications and intravenous solutions to patients across all age groups, in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as established hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patient medication regimens.
- Evaluate and fill valid physician orders and pharmacy requisitions.
- Provide guidance on all aspects of drug therapy.
- Ensure adherence to established standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Minimum of six months of practical internship experience.
Licensure:
Valid New York State Pharmacy License and Registration.

Vassar Brothers Medical Center
Employment Type:
Full-Time
Standard Hours:
36 hours per week
Schedule:
Day and Evening shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
