Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychology Specialist to join our team at USGP.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing neuropsychological testing and test scoring, utilizing therapeutic assessment and interview skills to elicit accurate patient information, and assisting credentialed providers with identifying mental health diagnosis and treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assigned assessment procedures under the direct supervision of a credentialed privileged psychologist or neuropsychologist.
  • Screen patients to determine presenting problems and priority of appointment, perform basic assessment procedures, and assist in providing specialized treatment and rehabilitation of brain injured and mental health patients.
  • Institute precautionary measures to prevent patient injuries due to suicide, homicide, or elopement, and coordinate with other military agencies and MTFs regarding specialized care and treatment.
  • Explain and interpret neuropsychological services and procedures to access care to patients and commands, and assist in arranging for patient referral to other facilities for alternate level of care.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or in a behavioral science related field, or a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or in a behavioral science related field.
  • Certification as a Psychometrist by the National Association of Psychometrists or Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP) is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in the performance of neuropsychological testing and test scoring, or 3 years of experience for those with a Bachelor's degree.

  3. California Verbal Learning Test-second edition (CVLT-II)

  5. Grooved Pegboard Test
  6. Test of Memory and Malingering (TOMM)
  7. Wisconsin Card Sorting Test
