Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Neuropsychological Testing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology and experience with neuropsychological testing and assessment procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned assessment procedures under the direct supervision of a credentialed psychologist or neuropsychologist.
  • Utilize therapeutic assessment and interview skills to elicit accurate and concise accounts of patient conditions.
  • Screen patients to determine presenting problems and priority of appointment, perform basic assessment procedures, and assist in identifying mental health diagnosis and treatment strategies.
  • Provide patient education and coordinate with other military agencies and MTFs regarding specialized care, treatment, and administrative functions.
  • Institute precautionary measures to prevent patient injuries due to suicide, homicide, or elopement.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a behavioral science-related field, or a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a behavioral science-related field with relevant experience. Certification as a Psychometrist by the National Association of Psychometrists or Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP) is also required.

  2. Wechsler Memory Scale-fourth edition (WMS-IV) or current
  3. California Verbal Learning Test-second edition (CVLT-II)
  4. Trailmaking Test
  5. Grooved Pegboard Test
  6. Test of Memory and Malingering (TOMM)
  7. Wisconsin Card Sorting Test
