Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, bathing, and dressing, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Assist with medical procedures, such as preparing patients for exams and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Idaho.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of experience as a CNA in an acute care setting, preferably in a medical surgical unit.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Six months of experience as a CNA in an acute care setting.
- Recent experience working in a medical surgical unit or with pediatric patients.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and record-keeping practices.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
