Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures to provide top-notch patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures to obtain high-quality images
  • Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
