Job Summary:

The Community Manager will be responsible for the overall management of an apartment community, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and manage all core business processes, including leasing, client relations, marketing, maintenance, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor relations, selection and recruitment, and team development.
  • Supervise and assist team members in completing all duties and responsibilities appropriately, safely, and on schedule.
  • Problem-solving: Identify existing and potential problems and develop and implement solutions for the successful accomplishment of property objectives.
  • Leadership: Empower others to perform and provide necessary support, set and measure challenging standards of performance, and facilitate the movement toward a common vision.
  • Coaching: Focus on actively training and coaching team members for high performance in current roles and proactively develop them for successful performance and promotion.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively in one-on-one and group settings, using appropriate vocabulary, grammar, and word usage.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and other applicable regulations.
  • Knowledge of financial and budgeting principles.
  • Valid Driver's License.
