We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses on the Med Surg/Orthopedics/Bariatrics unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of nurses in providing patient care and implementing nursing interventions
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on new procedures and technologies
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association
- Minimum of three years acute care experience in Orthopedics
- BSN, preferred
- Management experience, preferred
