Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a Charge Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals.

About the Role

The Charge Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Assuming shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and care partners.
  • Coordinating multi-disciplinary team members and directing nursing staff to achieve safe and optimal healthcare outcomes.
  • Supporting activities that meet the facility's vision, mission, and goals.
  • Providing professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrating Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • A minimum of one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing.
  • One to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • BLS (current upon hire).
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).
  • A current state nursing license.
