Job Summary

Ace Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Overhead Crane Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing quality installation, inspections, maintenance, and repair services for hoist and crane equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists, below the hook devices, and other lifting devices.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
  • Support customers by effectively interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.

Requirements

Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

Ability to work independently

Ability to work well with others

Ability to fabricate and weld structures (structural welding only if certified)

Ability to perform inspections to OSHA/ANSI criteria

Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits, single or three phase, and AC or DC

Ability to assemble and repair complex machinery

Willingness to travel

Safety oriented

Maintain confidentiality

Quality and results driven

Good driving record

Ability to drive a service truck with a trailer
