Security Officer

Job Summary:

The Security Officer role at The Resort at Glade Springs is a critical position that requires a professional and vigilant individual to maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol resort premises to detect and prevent potential security threats, enforcing company regulations and applicable laws.
• Investigate incidents, interview guests and employees, and document findings in incident reports.
• Respond to emergency situations, providing assistance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with management and law enforcement to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Complete daily logs and incident reports, maintaining accurate records of security-related activities.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; one year of security experience or three years of military experience preferred.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and law enforcement.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm in emergency situations.

Working Conditions:

The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced environment, often in variable weather conditions. The ability to stand for long periods, walk, and climb stairs is required. The role may involve working rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
