Key Responsibilities
The primary objective of the Senior Electron Optics Engineer is to innovate and advance electron optics technology to support the product development roadmap.

In this senior role, you will take the lead in specifying, designing, and implementing the electron optics system for the most sophisticated e-beam wafer inspection and metrology systems. You will also collaborate with teams focused on electronics, alignment, and calibration of the scanning electron microscope (SEM).

Qualifications
PhD in optics, electron optics, charged particle optics, or a closely related field.

At least 3 years of professional experience in electron optics or charged particle optics. Proven expertise in evaluating the performance of electron optics systems or charged particle systems. Experience in the theoretical design, implementation, integration, and testing of electron optics or charged particle equipment.

Skills Required
Strong foundation in physics with a proven track record in the relevant technical field.

Proficient in data analysis and skilled in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements. Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team while completing tasks with minimal oversight. Excellent communication skills, both clear and professional. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.

Adherence to strict procedures and timelines is essential.

Additional Information
Travel may be required, both domestically and internationally, to various ASML locations and client sites, potentially up to 20% of the time.

Regular activities include sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and using hands for various tasks. Occasionally, lifting or moving items up to 15 pounds may be necessary. This position requires access to controlled technology as defined by applicable regulations. Candidates must be legally authorized to access such technology prior to commencing employment.

The current base annual salary range for this role is $202,125-$336,875, with pay scales determined by role, level, location, and market alignment. Individual compensation is assessed through interviews and various factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, education, experience, certifications, and relative pay among team members.
