Job Summary

This role plays a key part in electron optical concept design for next-generation e-beam metrology and inspection systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new critical technology and key modules according to the company's electron beam technology and product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new electron optical design concepts for electron optics systems.
  • Design and prototype electron sources and columns, including mechanical design and vacuum design.
  • Develop new ideas to overcome design bottlenecks limiting electron optical performance.
  • Provide input to system specification, system error budget, and interfaces.
  • Assemble and test electron optics sub-modules and integrate them into the full system.
  • Perform basic performance tests on test benches and write test reports.
Requirements
  • PhD with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in electron optics.
  • Physics, Applied Physics, or Mechanical Engineering background.
  • 3+ years of experience in vacuum system design, material process, and mechanical design.
  • 1-2 years of experience with mechanical design tools (e.g., Solidworks, NX).
  • Strong English communication skills, including written and oral communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Vacuum simulation, design, prototyping, and test.
  • Mechanical design of electron optics.
  • Communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
