Objective of Position:

The primary goal is to guarantee that all kitchen preparations are executed to meet the high standards of Tucci Learning Solutions, ensuring that every guest enjoys a remarkable dining experience. This role involves preparing meals and recipes in accordance with established specifications using various cooking techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a diverse array of food items while following specific preparation and presentation guidelines.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation protocols set forth by Tucci Learning Solutions.
  • Ensure the precise execution of recipes while maintaining product quality and consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent service interruptions.
  • Communicate effectively with culinary team members and management regarding any potential issues.
  • Complete assigned preparation tasks to set up workstations as required.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas at the end of each shift.
  • Implement proper product rotation and restock items as necessary.
  • Safely transport items within the kitchen.
  • Perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
  • Execute all responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in line with established policies.
  • Foster positive working relationships with team members to promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Represent Tucci Learning Solutions positively at all times.
  • Assist colleagues with various tasks as needed, including dishwashing and cleaning duties.
  • Support the unloading of delivery shipments.

Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently bend and stoop.
  • Must be able to stand for the entirety of the shift.
  • Proficient in using sharp knives and kitchen utensils.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as slicers.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting recipes.
  • Effective communication skills with management and team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Able to operate specialized cooking equipment.
