About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care, leading a team of nurses, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
  • Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice
  • Model proficiency through precepting new nurses and promoting a culture of excellence
  • Contribute to a safe and quality-driven environment at the point of care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 1 year of nursing experience
  • EFM within 1 year (Tracked on the unit)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
