Job Title: Server Assistant

Corner Bar, a renowned restaurant located in the Nine Orchard Hotel, is seeking a skilled Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional service to our guests, upholding the high standards of food, beverage, and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist servers and attend to guests during service, providing attentive and quality service to all guests.
  • Run guest orders to tables in an accurate and orderly manner, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Clear guest dishware and set up tables to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Participate actively in pre-shift meetings, restaurant service, and team trainings to stay informed and up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
Personnel Requirements:
  • Ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff members.
  • Communicate effectively with staff members, management, and the kitchen during service, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Aid co-workers during service, demonstrating ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Guest Service:
  • Provide courteous and efficient service, responding promptly to customer concerns and complaints.
  • Assist servers by clearing tables, setting tables, refilling beverages, and attending to guest requests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Maintain a welcoming and orderly restaurant environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
Service Standards:
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant, both before, during, and after service.
  • Reliably complete all assigned side work, adhering to company policies and procedures.

The physical demands of this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
