Position Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Technician will assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the facility and its equipment. Responsibilities include performing minor repairs and preventive maintenance tasks while adhering to safety regulations. The technician will support plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems maintenance, as well as conduct general repairs and upkeep as needed.
Qualifications:
- Completion of relevant college or technical training, or equivalent experience in facilities maintenance.
- 0-3+ years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Must pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address facility-related issues, including climate control and emergency repairs.
- Assist in maintaining building security and respond promptly to incidents.
- Monitor and replace lighting as necessary.
- Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Conduct cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Support other maintenance tasks as directed by management.
Essential Skills:
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements: The role may require physical activity, including lifting and moving items up to 100 pounds. Employees should be prepared to work in various conditions, including exposure to weather and potential hazards.
