Position Overview:
The Mobile Maintenance Technician is integral in addressing maintenance needs arising from staff turnover, employee absences, and urgent situations. This role demands superior time management skills, technical expertise, and exemplary customer service abilities. Key responsibilities include executing maintenance tasks, managing repair requests, supervising maintenance initiatives, preparing units for incoming residents, conducting property inspections, and ensuring the cleanliness of the premises.
- Perform minor repairs to maintain the building's functionality
- Address and fulfill maintenance requests promptly
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks
- Prepare and clean vacant units for new occupants
- Ensure outdoor areas are free from litter and debris
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is necessary, with a solid understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, and painting. An Associate degree or completion of a technical program is preferred. A valid Driver's License and insurance are mandatory. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. The role may involve physical demands, including lifting and transporting heavy items.
Tool Requirements:
Employees are required to provide their own tools for maintenance tasks. A comprehensive list of necessary tools must be acquired within 60 days of employment.
