We are a reputable general contracting and engineering firm specializing in the construction of water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment systems, and master pumping stations. We are currently seeking a skilled pipe layer with substantial experience in piping systems and mechanical equipment installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and connect pipes for underground utilities, including water mains, sewer systems, and storm drainage.
- Handle and transport materials effectively.
- Backfill trenches after pipe installation.
- Rig and position precast structures and pipe materials.
- Utilize hand tools such as cutoff saws, wrenches, tampers, pumps, lasers, and levels.
- Set up dewatering systems, including pumps, Kelly wells, well points, and sock drains.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and maintain prolonged periods of standing.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- OSHA-10 Certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Must be drug-free.
