Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Yoh's Occupational Health clinic in Clayton, NC.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
- Record physical findings, formulate plan and prognosis, and provide written home-going instructions.
- Collaborate with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
- Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
- Refer patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
- Maintain medical records using Electronic Medical Record software.
- Educate and coach nursing staff on best nursing practices.
- All nurse practitioner licenses/certificates to practice.
- Master Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required).
- BLS upon hire.
- At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting is preferred.
